Keeping an eye out for regional needs, renovation project of Plaza Romania was designed as a “mix use” concept with an integrated office and shopping center areas. Nominated for an award for only-adjacent office building and mall architecture which was a first for Bucharest, Plaza Romania, converted its shopping mall area of 10.500 metre square into an office. Thus while the mall visitor number increased, a need of a working space was met. In addition mall occupancy rate went from 55 to 98 percentage.
